Dave is an Air Force Veteran, after leaving the Military Dave began to further his education. Dave graduated from State University of New York, Brockport, New York with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration. Dave started his management career with Radio Shack as a salesperson. Dave's next venture was as a District Manager for a video arcade company for 13 years. Dave has been with Sentry Self Storage for the past 10 years in several different capacities most recently as the Property Manager of one of our facilities in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Dave's expertise is in training the right people to perform their work with pride and enthusiasm.
Jay Morris - Area Manager
Jay Morris joined Sentry Self Storage in August of 2007. Jay comes to us with more than 5 years of experience in the Self Storage Industry. Starting as a Storage Consultant with Storage USA and quickly moving up to a property manager and then senior property manager and finally as a certified trainer with Extra Space Storage.
Since joining Sentry Self Storage Jay's strong work ethics, motivation and workmanship has advanced him to a new level as Area Manager overseeing 4 facilities in the Miami/Dade market.
Jay has a proven track record of taking over an underperforming asset and turning it into a well managed and smooth running operation in 90 to 120 days. Jay knows how to motivate his team to maximize revenues and increase occupancy, starting with great curb appeal, top notch customer service and making sure everyone's storage experience has been a positive one.
Christopher Ward - Area Manager
Chris Ward joined the Sentry Self Storage Team in May 2006. Chris brings over 7 years of experience in the Self Storage industry. His management experience was gained at Public Storage and later, Extra Space Storage. Chris served several roles for both organizations, from 1999 until 2005. He operated as a Retail Store Corporate employee for Public Storage, where he trained District Managers as well as Regional Managers.
From 2005 until 2006 he worked for Extra Space Storage, managing sites that were under performing. This help Chris develop a wonderful track record in regards to renting up facilities.
Chris has a proven ability to rent up locations within the first six months of taking over as Manager. He also has a strong background in turning the facility performance around of any
under performing location, in three to four months. Chris will do his best to lead his team effectively to increase occupancy and revenues.
